Nick Wilson
With musical influences as varied as The Velvet Underground, Kraftwerk
and Philip Glass, Nick is bringing a new lease of life to UK techno.
From first playing in a punk band and then producing abstract drones
he fast moved into making techno once he got the taste for it through
his early experiments with DJing. Within a year of getting a few
pieces of studio equipment, Nick was already producing highly developed
music, which immediately caught the ear of Rob Alcock, who realized
that he had to have him on board continual. Richard Polson and Nick
Dunton (the 65D Mavericks) soon heard some of Nick's tracks, and
decided to start releasing his material on thier fledgling label,
Inceptive. A prolific producer, Nick has already found a firm footing
with his music - expect to hear more.
